Question of the Day...

If you had the choice, would you choose to be a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in a big pond...and WHY?

  1. Ha. Um, I will tell you that although I love the idea of being a small fish because there is so much to learn and be humbled by in this big world... I'm much more comfortable being a big fish in my little pond. I like my little comfort zone.

  2. I asked this in an interview once, and the gal just looked at me stunned. I could see the wheels turning in her head -- "what's the right answer? what should I say?"

It was pretty comical. When we didn't hire her, she asked if it was this question that lost the job for her. LOL!!!!

  3. Good question. I think I'm happy being a little fish in a big pond.

  4. Little Fish, Big Pond. I like to blend in and have the opportunity to be more "anonymous", if I like.

In a job interview, it would definitely be Big Fish, Little Pond. I have aspirations of leadership and believe I have the traits to make a great leader. I'm anxious to jump right in where I'm most needed and look forward to growing with this company - how does that sound for interview language!
